TRAINING OBJECTIVE :

1. Memberikan pengertian dasar tentang teori (hidrolik) yang berkaitan dengan pompa sentrifugal (centrifugal pump) dan instalasinya yang akan menjadi dasar pemahaman terhadap prinsip, cara kerja dan karateristik pompa sentrifugal beserta instalasinya (system) dan pengertian tentang gejala-gejala hidrolik yang terjadi pada operasi.
2. Memberikan karateristik pompa sentrifugal (centrifugal pump) dan instalasinya (system) yang menjadi dasar pengenalan terhadap sifat-sifat pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya serta pemahaman tentang dasar perancangan system pemilihan pompa, cara pengoperasian dan perlakuan terhadap pompa sentrifugal beserta instalasinya.
3. Memberikan pengenalan tentang jenis-jenis pompa dan komponen-komponen utama serta karateristiknya yang menjadi dasar pemahaman tentang konstruksi dan daerah (kondisi operasi) pompa. Pemilihan material pompa yang sesuai dengan system dan operasinya.
4. Memberikan dasar cara pengoperasian pompa sentrifugal(centrifugal pump) , cara-cara perawatan dan mengatasi masalah pada pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya.
5. Dengan semua hal diatas dan pengalaman peserta, pada akhirnya para peserta pelatihan akan/diharapkan mempunyai kemampuan mengoperasikan system dengan baik, mengenali gejala-gejala yang terjadi selama oparasi, merawat dan mengatasi masalah yang timbul pada operasi, merawat dan mengatasi masalah yang timbul pada operasi system pompa sentrifugal dengan dilengkapi pengertian dasar perancangan system.

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR

I Nengah Diasta, M.Eng. is graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and till now he is a lecturer at mechanical engineering Bandung Institute of Technology majoring on fluid mechanics and fluid machineries. Power plants are inherently very complex systems. The challenge for power plant operators is to ensure maximum safety in all the processes of the water cycle. All components, including the piping systems, must conform to the highest safety and reliability standards. The piping systems in power plants, in particular, are exposed to excessive loads when transporting the acids and alkalis required for water treatment. Presented in the following are several processes in which aggressive chemicals are used and which can cause corrosive damage in pipe networks.
This course provides and understanding of the role of chemistry in a power plant and the effect of chemical controls on the operation of the system.
Unit efficiency, reliability, and availability can be adversely affected by improper boiler water chemistry. The results of a multi-million dollar overhaul can be negated during start-up due to improper boiler water chemistry.
