PENDAHULUAN :

Perencanaan kondisi proses perlu ditunjang dengan data mengenai ongkos produksi, ongkos pahat, ongkos operasi, dan data pemesinan yang lengkap yang biasanya tidak diketahui oleh seorang operator mesin. Hal ini sesungguhnya memang merupakan tugas bagi seorang ahli teknik produksi yang menguasai teori, memiliki data, dan pengalaman yang memungkinkan dalam penentuan kondisi proses pemesinan sesuai dengan tujuan dengan sebaik mungkin atau optimum.

Dalam optimisasi kondisi pemesinan diperlukan suatu algoritma yaitu langkah logik yang menggunakan suatu model matematik untuk menghitung harga paling baik atau optimum bagi variabel proses pemesinan dapat dipenuhi, yaitu Ongkos produksi yang paling rendah atau ekonomik, Kecepatan produksi yang paling tinggi atau produktif, danKecepatan penghasilan keuntungan yang paling tinggi atau menguntungkan.

Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Optimisasi Sistem Produksi (Optimization for Production System).

SUGENG ISDWIYANUDI, Ir. MT. And Team
was graduated from politeknik  universitas brawijaya malang for his diploma in mechanical engineering majoring on mechanical maintenance and repairing, from ITS Surabaya for his bachelor in mechanical engineering majoring on production engineering, and from ITB Bandung for his master program in mechanical engineering majoring on production engineering. Now he is as lecturer at mechanical engineering Politeknik Negeri Bandung(before as poltek ITB). Ir. Sugeng Isdwiyanudi, MT. has followed many trainings/courses to improve his competence.
